Can you help me find document and office organizing software? - task tracking software
I find software that records when a document has worked, was (and what the user is working on it) and has also has adjustable fields. We have a track lists from paper to keep tasks and clients. We need an automated solution. Help please!

Office 2007 has all the features you want, but not for professional use without having to buy permits a commercial license. I think OpenOffice, certain characteristics that you want.
